I can't remember how I stumbled across Eva Juliet Atelier but I'm glad I have. The Candian desginer seems to be able to turn her very talent hand to anything. Her website shows amazing examples of graphic design, illustration, print, photography & plush.  I have posted a few of my favourite pieces above - I especially like the 2 prints - one for me & the other for H. I love her colour palette & materials, its very soft and easy. May have to add her shop to my Etsy favourites.

Be My Valentine...

Well... it's that time of the year again, February 14th the most romantic day of the year so I thought I'd share a few romantic moments of mine. A breathtaking photograph taken on a romantic weekend break, and an illustration to remember the weekend. A beautiful bouquet of flowers given to me this valentines day and a cheeky digital love letter sent as a surprise.

In Bloom

Like Laura I love using my Instagram app on my iphone it just makes any ordinary photo look so much more intense.  Photographing flowers is my most favourite thing to do whenever I get the opportunity, I saw blossoms in Newcastle, Lavender  in Lincolnshire and Roses in London. Its probably the best app I have on my phone and it's free! It gives the photo so much more emotion and depth especially to the colours.

Sweet Tooth

Ta Dah!

My newest logo design, designed and printed for Toffee Nose in Covent Garden, London.  I went down to see the bags in person and helped myself to all the pic 'n' mix I could get my hands on!  The place is filled with every kind of sweet imaginable, so I wanted to design something eye catching and memorable considering a lot of tourists visit the shop.

Happily Ever After

Here they are, the professional photographs from Chris and Sarah's wedding.  They did a great job of capturing the day and did some pretty good shots of my table plan and postcards too.  The pic of the girlies was one of my favourites so had to show you, they all look amazing!

The Invitation that I designed worked really well with the colour scheme and vintage feel that Sarah wanted so really glad that I could help make the day a success.

Its a virtual based pin board where you can pin images from across the web to 1 place and it links back to the original link, so its great when you want to remember something. Cutting Crazy

I find artists like Rob Ryan such an inspiration, the way that they find a niche idea and turn it into something iconic is something to admire. The skill, creativity and perseverance involved has made me want to try it for myself!  I went for a quirky simple design and applied the cut out look, hope you like it.

  

All Things Vintage

With having an unhealthy obsession with everything vintage I came across a great tutorial online in turning any photograph vintage! It really gives a nostalgic feel and love the colours you can achieve. Click here to have a look.

Congratulations

The Wedding Day finally came on saturday for the couple who I had designed invitations for.  It seemed an eternity when I first started designing them but soon enough the memorable day arrived.

I would like to say congratulations to Chris & Sarah who tied the knot at Belfast Castle.  The whole day looked spectacular and the table plan and decorations matched perfectly with the room. I'm really pleased how they turned out and so glad that I could help make their day as special as it was.
